As the year draws to an end we would like to announce our engagement numbers for 2021.
This year we've engaged with 100 people in person at an event hosted by Techniquest, the low annual total can be explained by the lack of in person events available due to the #covidー19 pandemic. We would however, like to thank Techniquest for this figure not being zero.
We have, however, had a far more successful year in regards to online engagement where we have engaged with 36,000 people. This was majoritively through our YouTube channel available here https://www.youtube.com/c/ThompsonSTEMEngagement these numbers have also been supplemented by over 1100 video engagements on Twitter and over 700 engagements on TikTok.
We would also like to extend thanks for a great year to our core team Tony Thompson, Rosie Cane and Thalia Ellice Richardson.
Aside from that, Happy holidays, merry Christmas and a happy new year to all of you and we look forward to another great year!
Sincerely,
Company Head and Lead Developer,
Tony Thompson

Sense the Universe
is a project put together by Thompson STEM Engagement and Cardiff University, funded by the Europlanet Society. The project looks to promote sensory learning and lessen barriers to learning by creating lessons and activities based around common household items.
The first of our projects is Tasty Planet, where our Company Head and Lead Developer, Tony Thompson, created the layers of a planet using tasty treats. This included an inner core made of Jam, an outer core made of icing, a mantle made of biscuit crumbs and a crust made of sugar!
